I really enjoyed thinking through the ten scenarios using your lens.

This might be personal bias, but the conclusion of "now is the time to sacrifice self care" didn't seem to naturally follow.

My main takeaways were:

1. The "correct" actions are very hard to predict, so let's spread out.

2. The radical changes brought by AI in the next decade could make animal welfare gains impossible or inevitable.

I wonder if now isn't actually a good time to wait and see what kind of path we will be on, because the most effective actions will be radically different quite soon.

Combining some wisdom from Peter Young's Liberate and Rutger Bergman's Moral Ambition, I recently wrote: " People go to amazing lengths to be rich or own a company or have some high status in society or steal expensive paintings. Going to Harvard so you can work at Goldman Sachs is the pentacle of moral failings just the same as becoming a masterful jewel thief. If they can work that hard for vanity, surely I can work that hard for helping animal."

This fits with your conclusion. Getting more people involved in advocacy is forever my top goal.
